The Letter N!

Michaela is on the letter N already! We have missed some days at preschool due to the snow. She learned about Noah's Ark this week! She took her "Nemo" fish in for show and tell. Look at her letters. Very impressive!

If she isn't working on a puzzle she is doing an art project! Painting is still one of her favorite things to do, too!

This is a "castle!"

Puzzles! Puzzles! Puzzles!

Michaela is obsessed with puzzles! She just loves them. Mom's fiance', Doug, got her this one. It has 100 pieces. She needed a little help the first time, but has it down pat now. She even begins her mornings at preschool with puzzles! Care Bears...What a blast from the past! I bet all of her aunts remember playing with Care Bears! She even has a Strawberry Shortcake puzzle!

Raegan's Science Project!

Well, I think it deserves an A+. Raegan is learning about the solar system . She chose to do a project about the moon. She learned about the phases of the moon, that there is no plant life, and that her sisters wouldn't survive on the moon. She learned that "Buzz, Neal, and Michael where on the Apollo 11 mission. Michael drove around the moon, while Buzz and Neal did experiments and put a flag on the moon. Michael left them there for 21 hours and then picked them back up. They all landed in the Pacific ocean."
She will present her poster to her class on Friday!

Heading to White Tail!

Our Youth Group took the kids skiing today. Look at this crew! How fun! I wish I could have went. I have to be in the kitchen baking for the Markets:( She woke up so excited. We met at 8:00 and they will be back this evening. I can't wait to hear how it went.

Say a prayer for them all! 8 kids went and 7 adults. Wonderful ratio for all of us anxious parents....They are in good hands. I am thrilled that Taylor wants to be involved in the youth group. I didn't realize how much of an impact it had on me until I was an adult.

I hope some of the other adults will take pictures there. If so, I will be sure to post them.

"God,Give America A Big Hug Today!"

This morning we made sure to put the flag out before we left for school. It looked so pretty with the snow and the sunrise in the backround!
Ever since Taylor was little, I would have prayer time in the car on the way to school. (I actually started doing that when she went to the babysitter.) I have tried to do that every morning. We lift everyone up. We ask God to help us with tests, friends, protection, family, health issues,etc... Today Our Country! There is nothing sweeter than hearing your children praying with such innocence for someone. Little Raegan brought up Biden today. I thought that was so cute. She wanted him covered, too! Both girls prayed for Bush! Taylor said....."I wouldn't have wanted his job!" Amen to that! We closed by asking God to give you a hug today....Hope you felt it!

Finally Some Snow!

The girls were thrilled with our little snow shower. They had just enough to make snowballs with. After running errands, they couldn't wait to get out and play.My snow angels!
Michaela got a snowball lesson from her big sisters.

ANOTHER WIN!

Taylor's team is won another game! They are doing great. They have lost a few games. Taylor looks so small out there compared to most of the girls. She moved up this year. She is having fun. She would love to be on the court more, but is understanding and respectful. ( I hope) I hate to admit it....after watching some of the games I love her cheering from the sidelines. I know her and her father would disagree! Some of the games look more like wresting matches than basketball games. Not to mention the fact that most of the girls elbows are eye level to my baby's face......Stressful! I think they need pads like football players! I am proud of all of the girls.

Zzzzzzzzzz

From Daddy;
Michaela asked that I go get her 'GommaJommas' before coloring. I politely asked her to wait one minute. By the time I got her 'GommaJommas' from the bedroom, she was asleep......Next time I will be sure to put her Pajama's on right away!

Happy New Year!

We hope you all had a wonderful New Year! We want to wish you all a year full of blessings!
Tommy and I went to a wedding last night. A New Year's Eve Wedding! We had a great time. It was so nice to see some of the friends we went to school with. The bride was beautiful! I loved that Tommy and I had some together! The girls loved the party hats we brought home. I can't remember the last time I was awake to ring in the new year! The girls had a sleep over at Granny's.
We took the Mr.Tree (Christmas Trees)down today. That is always so depressing. Wanted to grab one more picture by our first real tree before we took it out.
